Topic 1) Custom Functions and Recursion in M

While you can solve many problems in Power Query just by clicking the user interface buttons, in some cases you need to go a step further and write your own code by using the M language. This session introduces you to custom functions and recursion in M.

Topic 2) Power BI Success Story at Caltex

Everyone has their own Power BI journey. This talk covers the experience of Andrew Olennik, IT Business Analyst at Caltex Australia, in rolling out Power BI within the Customer Service department of Caltex, going from zero adoption in January to having over 60 reports in use by December, and Power BI becoming an essential tool across the entire department. Through the presentation Andrew will share how their journey progressed, some of the lessons learnt, and tips for those embarking on their own journey. Whilst everyone has their own journey, we all start at zero.
